ALISON GALVAN

Owner & Founder

Alison’s passion for helping others drives the success of this community. Alison has been in the Fitness Industry for over 10 years working with athletes, college students, athletes of life, kids, older adults, and everything in between. Alison achieved her BS in Kinesiology from Texas A&M and MA in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State University. She currently works with BOSU and WaterRower as a Master Trainer helping other fitness professionals enhance their skills. In addition, she holds her RYT 200, NASM- CPT, AFAA Primary, and TRX Suspension, Group, and Sports Medicine Certifications, and is an Onnit Academy Level 1 Certified Trainer and Onnit Kettlebell Specialist. When Alison isn’t inspiring the world to fitness, she is spending time outside with her dog and inspiring husband, Danny.

GLORIA GUERRA

Gloria became a part of the XCrew in April 2016. She immediately fell in love with the studio and rowing. She began coaching soon after, obtaining her ACE group fitness certification. Gloria earned her BS Degree in Nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian and currently works as a Nutrition Support Dietitian for Home Infusion Pharmacy. When away from the studio, Gloria enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and friendly pups. She loves all outdoor activities especially happy hour at local dog-friendly patios. Gloria loves to remain active in and out of the studio, and has completed four full marathons, at least a dozen half marathons, and in the past two years has completed a number of different length triathlons including one half Ironman. She has her eyes set on completing Ironman Texas in 2022.

MIRANDA PUENTE

Miranda began her fitness career in NYC achieving her RYT- 200. Upon returning to San Antonio she continued to teach yoga around town. Miranda joined EnergyX as a member and quickly expanded her fitness and teaching knowledge to EnergyX Fitness. She has been coaching with EnergyX Since Summer 2019.

DANNY GALVAN

Danny has been working in the fitness industry for over 15 years. His passion for creative approaches to overall health and wellness and bettering the lives of everyone he meets makes him a vital part of EnergyX Fitness. Danny earned his Master's degree from Texas State University (San Marcos) in Professional Counseling and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). He has worked with and helped children, teens and adults make lifestyle changes to improve their quality of life. Danny earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Exercise Sports Science from Texas Wesleyan University. He also holds TRX suspension and sports medicine certifications, Indo-Row and Shockwave certifications, Onnit Academy Foundations, and Onnit Academy Specialist: Kettlebells. In addition to the general public, Danny has worked intensely with athletes as well as physically disabled individuals. He has had the pleasure of working for a non-profit for the past several years helping veterans heal through holistic approaches. His spare time is spent enjoying the great outdoors with Alison and their dog.

NICOLE DAVIS

Nicole has been working in the fitness industry nearly her whole life, where she worked at the front desk and eventually became a trainer for her family's fitness business. She holds a BS in Kinesiology, an MA in Leadership, and is a Certified NESTA Personal Trainer. Nicole is also a certified TRX Suspension trainer and holds a Texas Health and Physical Education certificate. Her passion for promoting health and wellness goes beyond coaching at EnergyX Fitness where she is a member of the Mayor's Fitness Council and is an ITS TIME TX ambassador. In her spare time, she likes to travel and cook like she is a master chef. Her favorite class is IndoRow.

GLENN REVELL

Glenn has been personal training since 2008, teaching group fitness since 2010 & coaching strength & conditioning since 2014. He is currently a USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach (USAW), Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach (RSCC) via the NSCA & an ACE Certified Personal Trainer (ACE-CPT). Upon graduating from Hardin-Simmons University, Glenn went on to play four seasons of professional football and after retirement he earned an MA from Angelo State University where he then became a full-time strength and conditioning coach. You can expect equal parts humor, hard work and heavy metal during his classes. When's he's not at EnergyX, you can find Glenn podcasting (check out #theGcast), serving on the Board of Young Associates for HSU, running the city with Leadership San Antonio; or anywhere there's live music, good food and aquatical activities!

MAGDALENA PUENTE

Magdalena enjoys fitness classes of all types! She started her fitness journey college when she took a yoga class and a Zumba class. Any workout with fun music and a good beat is her favorite! She joined EnergyX as a member in December 2018 and joined the staff in 2021. Her favorite classes at EnergyX are Athlet-X, YogaX, and Row & Flow. In addition to working at EnergyX, she works at a non-profit organization called Aid the Silent. They advocate for the deaf community and help deaf and hard of hearing children get hearing aids.

ADRIANA ANGER

Adriana originally hails from Michigan but spent part of her childhood growing up in Australia and she was always involved in some form of sport. In 2012 she moved to San Antonio, fell in the love with the city and in 2015 was introduced to EnergyX Fitness. Adriana had made the decision to get serious about her workouts, took her first class and was hooked. In 2018 she turned her passion for learning how the body works into a career and obtained her ACE group fitness instructor certification, took continuing education courses for the TRX, and BOSU; and in 2020 she started coaching at EnergyX. Adriana also holds an MA in Health and Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science from UTSA. In her spare time, she enjoys running races, especially when she gets to dress up in costumes, and running obstacle courses, Spartan being her first and all-time favorite race series.

DAVID LOPEZ-HERRERA

David is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor. He is a certified Battle Ropes Education Expert, and trained instructor for TRX, BOSU, and Lebert Equalizer Bars. He is currently working to complete specialty certifications as a nutrition coach, behavior change specialist, and corrective exercise specialist. David has an extensive background in strength, conditioning, agility, power, and endurance training, as he was a former high school athlete (football, soccer, track & field), collegiate athlete (powerlifter), semi-professional athlete (football), and recreational athlete (marathon runner). In his classes and training sessions, you can expect a zealous challenge to your strength and intensity efforts coupled with a focus on proper form, technique, posture, and balance. In addition to helping you to reach your fitness goals, David aims to help educate you about functional movement, positive behavior change, and lifelong healthy habits.
